Our Beliefs

At Maison Intime, we love beautiful spaces, beautiful energy, and beautifully expressed desire.

But more than anything, we care about how it feels to exist without shame, without pressure, and without having to be anyone else. We’re guided by these beliefs in everything we do:

Pleasure is essential
We cherish physical and emotional pleasure in all its shades. Pleasure isn’t decoration, or something that happens by accident or performing. It’s how we stay connected to the body, to each other - and to the small things in life that, to us, carries a lot of meaningfulness.

Beauty matters
What we surround ourselves with affects the quality of our lives, period - from the architecture we live in to the fresh flowers on our bedside table. We care about lighting, fabrics, art, design, tone and texture. To us, beauty isn’t a luxury or for special occasions, but a necessity for a rich, long and meaningful life.

Clarity is hot
We love and value honest yeses, clear no’s and open communication, always. Desire should never be assumed. It should be expressed and respected with presence, and without pressure.

Shame is so last season
We believe that you - and your desires - deserve to exist without apology. You don’t have to fit into anyone else’s fantasy or opinions. Wanting something is not embarrassing, it’s something to be proud of.

Good energy only
We move through the world with warmth and attention. Whether you show up alone or with someone else, your energy sets the tone of our gatherings. Be kind, respectful and curious.

Do you, always
We expect you to show up as yourself. At our events, you don’t have to perform, prove, hide or pretend. To show up courageous, authentic, and vulnerable makes room for others to do the same, and that’s golden. We’re a place to feel, be, and move in your own way - whether that’s through touch, talk or just being.

Life is our Greatest Love
Everything we do is rooted in joy and a deep love for life. We essentially gather to honour and celebrate the body, each other, and the fact that we’re here, alive, sensing and together, in everything we do.
